As a state representative, I aim to advocate for the needs and concerns of the people in the 6th LD. I believe in the power of community and the importance of giving a voice to those who may not have one. I want to ensure that everyone in our district has access to quality education, affordable healthcare, and job opportunities that will help them thrive.
Growing up in Eastern Washington, I have witnessed the struggles and challenges that many families face. I have seen the impact of economic downturns and the need for strong leadership to guide us through difficult times. I want to be that leader for our community, someone who will fight for their rights and work tirelessly to improve their lives.
My experience caring for my grandmother has taught me the value of compassion and empathy. I understand the importance of providing support and resources to those who are vulnerable or in need. I want to use my knowledge and skills in social work to create policies and programs that will uplift and empower individuals and families in our district.
As a person with a disability, I am also passionate about advocating for the rights and inclusion of individuals with disabilities. I believe that everyone deserves equal opportunities and access to resources, regardless of their abilities. I want to work towards creating a more inclusive society where everyone can thrive and contribute their unique talents and perspectives.
My family’s long history in the Spokane area has instilled in me a deep love and appreciation for our community. I want to give back to the place that has shaped me and my family for generations. I want to be a representative who listens to the concerns and needs of the people and who works tirelessly to address them. Together, we can build a stronger and more prosperous future for the 6th LD and all its residents.
